Born & raised in Everett, Mrs. DeMattio was an alumna of the Class of 1946 at Everett High School. After marrying, John W. DeMattio, Sr. of Revere in 1953, the couple then moved to Revere. Helen was indeed a stay at home “Mom” and her hands full with the upbringing of three boys. She was dedicated and thoroughly enjoyed her role as a true “Family Woman”. Her dear husband, John, passed on November 26, 2012.
She is the cherished “Mom” to Edward J. DeMattio of Lynn, John W. DeMattio, Jr. of Meriden, Connecticut & Joseph S. DeMattio of Revere. She is the devoted grandmother to Marissa A. DeMattio of Revere, Kayla T. DeMattio of Methuen, Lauren E. DeMattio of Richmond, Rhode Island & Lindsey M. DeMattio of Ashaway, Rhode Island. She is also lovingly survived by her two former daughters-in-law, Lisa M. DeMattio of Methuen & Deborah J. DeMattio of Plainfield, Connecticut & many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. She was also the dear sister of the late, Rita Ryan, James & Joseph Gannon, Dorothy D’Ambrosio, Alice Bellefonte & Mary Dean.

Fabio was born and raised in Coronel Fabriciano, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He came to the United States 19 years ago. He was a man of many talents and skills. He was currently working as a custodian at a private school in Boston. He was known by his family and friends as a hardworking, fun loving person and was always willing to help out a friend. He had a giant smile and personality. Above all, he was a man who loved his daughter unconditionally & his family.
He is the most loving father of Emanuelle C. Menezes of Revere. Devoted son of Neida Menezes of Brazil & the late Benjamin Alves Menezes. Cherished brother of Luciano Menezes & his wife Jocimara of Revere & Fernanda Menezes & her husband Wellington of Deerfield Beach, Florida & former husband of Patricia Roberto of Revere. He is also lovingly survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Born in Revere, she spent 70 years here as a resident. She was a 1955 alumna of Revere High School. She retired from Marson Corp. of Chelsea after 10 years of service as an Executive Secretary. Prior to that time, she worked for Harry M. Stevens at Wonderland Dog Track as an Executive Secretary & also for the Architectural Firm of Bill Barnes, as an Administrative Assistant.
She is the beloved wife of the late James L. Dorr, who passed on October 15, 2017. Devoted mother of James W. Hickey, III of Revere, John H. Hickey & wife Marie of Little Elm, Texas, formerly of Revere & Somerville & Gary R. Hickey of Wakefield. Cherished grandmother to Amanda, Claire, Ian & Olivia Hickey, all of Wakefield, Jessica Puglia of Tewksbury, Laura Puglia of Las Vegas, Nevada & the late Christopher Kennedy. Also lovingly survived by Deborah L. Puglia of Tewksbury & James B. Dorr of Brookline & her great granddaughter Isabella “Izzy”. Dear sister of Henry Cardillo, Jr. & wife Sandra of Youngstown, Ohio & the late Jacqueline V. Cardillo-Green. Many nieces & nephews also survive Louise.

Judith ‘Judy’ (Mercurio) Cammarata was born on August 17, 1933 to Michael and Elizabeth Mercurio along with her twin sister and lifelong partner-in-crime, Janice. Together, the Judy and Jannie show was the main attraction at family gatherings for 86 glorious years. Tales of their often strange and “creepy” twin connection still come up in conversation. Stories of showing up to events dressed eerily similar with no knowledge of what the other was planning to wear, or Judy getting a funny feeling in her arm and calling up her sister asking if she had hurt her arm only to find out that she in-fact did, and even sharing labor pains proved how truly and unbelievably close they were. They would often be seen in the background at family gatherings, wearing their famous aprons, preparing dinners and treats for their eagerly awaiting families, and cleaning up after they had fed everyone to the point where no one could move from their seats. They laughed together, they cried together and lived their lives to the end together, passing away exactly seven months to-the-day apart. A lover of family, friends and traveling, Judy went on many adventures with her family including to “Virgin-E-ah” and her beloved “IT-LY” on multiple occasions, but wherever she was in the world, you would always find her standing next to her husband with a giant smile on her face, surrounded by those who loved her. Their greatest adventure together would be the family they brought into the world. Judy would become the mother of three loving daughters who. in turn. blessed her with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, each sharing in a special, unique and unbreakable relationship with their beloved Meme (all of whom still claim to be the favorite.) She would never miss school plays, sporting events or gatherings. And, though she may have been sitting in the audience, to all of her grandchildren she was always the real star of the show, as they, and their friends always looked around the crowd to make sure they saw her. She may have been the grandmother of seven, but she was Meme to countless friends, classmates, and neighbors. And to answer the question once and for all, Janelle was, and continues to be, Meme’s favorite. A devout Catholic, Judy was an active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and the parish Women’s Club in Revere, where she would be constantly found lighting candles and praying for her friends and family. She was an avid bowler, member of the Suburbanites’ Bowling league and involved in countless church activities. Judy does not leave behind anyone, because her spirit will never leave those who knew her. She is survived by her adoring husband, Sonny, her daughter, Susan and husband, James Forte of Saugus, daughter, Cheryl Cammarata of Revere, daughter, Phyllis and her husband, Thomas Yewcic of Stoneham, her granddaughter, Kristen and her husband, Ryan Flynn of Merrimack, New Hampshire, granddaughters Elizabeth Forte of Beverly, Meredith Stavrinos of Medford, Michala Stavrinos and her fiancé, Alex Shea of Revere; granddaughters: Janelle and Julia Yewcic and grandson Thomas Yewcic, all of Stoneham, and great granddaughters, Mia and Madeline Flynn. She will be dearly missed by her brother. Robert Mercurio and his wife, Grace of Falmouth, her older sister, Aida Mageau of Dennis and her brother-in-law, George L. Gonnella, Sr. of Peabody, all of her nieces, nephews and cousins for whom she had a special place in her heart, and countless friends and neighbors, all of whom had the good fortune to know her. As we all look back at this extraordinary woman who led such an extraordinary life filled with such extraordinary love, we are reminded how lucky we all are because for some reason God loved us all enough to put us on this earth at the same time as Judy Cammarata.

Firstly & most importantly, Carmen was a devoted wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt & friend to many. And also completed 35 years of service with Polaroid Corp., as a Senior Compensation Advisor. She was an active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish Community of Revere & also Our Lady of Grace Church & Parish of Chelsea/Everett. She served as a Eucharistic Minister at both parishes and was also an active member of the Revere Senior Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late Horace S. Trindall, Jr. & Arthur E. Loretti. Cherished mother of Beverly A. Petrelli & husband Robert of Weymouth, Stephen P. Trindall & wife Karen of Hanover. Beloved grandmother to Alicia Murray & husband Daniel & their son William Patrick of Hanover, Robert Petrelli, Jr. & wife, Maria & their daughter, Mia Livia Petrelli of Weymouth, Helen Trindall & Peter Trindall, both of Hanover. Mrs. Adams was born & raised in Malden, attended Malden schools and moved to Revere, seventy (70) years ago. She was the beloved daughter to the late Robert Joseph Tufts & Grace Mae (Giles) Tufts. She was married to the late Eugene N. Adams, who passed on September 28, 2014. She is the cherished mother to John R. Adams of Revere & Deborah J. Leonard & her husband, Barry of San Diego, California, She is also the devoted grandmother to Trevor J. Adams & his wife, Jennifer of North Royalton, Ohio, Erin Leonard of San Diego, California and Angela D’Ambrosio & her companion, Daniel O’Connor of Nahant. She is also lovingly survived by her two great-grandchildren, Jake Daniel O’Connor and Brody O’Connor & many nieces & nephews. Mazzone, Sr., who passed unexpectedly on Monday, June 3rd at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Born in Boston, he was raised & educated in Canton & was a 1965 alumnus of Canton High School. He entered the U.S. Air Force in October of 1965 & served until June of 1966, as an Airman 3rd class. His early working career was spent as a lineman for New England Tel. & Tel for over 20 years and he then joined the Yellow Pages as a salesman for about five years. For the past 25 (twenty-five) years, he has been with the City of Revere, first in Parks & Recreation & later in the Division of Transportation as a School Bus Driver. As a school bus driver, there was no one more popular or well-suited. Children loved him & he in turn loved them. His time with the children was always crowded with many a funny story & joyful experiences. Up to & until the time of his untimely death, he served the city as a Crossing Guard. If Paul had a true vocation in life, it would have been politics. He had a love & intellect for politics, second to none. Politicians were most eager, to have him on their team, for the huge scope of political savvy that he possessed and exhibited. He also, during the years, enjoyed many Signatory Titles within City Government, among which was as a Board Member of the Revere Conservation Committee. His passing has left a deep void within the Revere Community. One of the only positive aspects of his death is the fact that he now enjoys the presence & comfort of his dear wife, Adele J. (Robinson) Mazzone, who died on February 5, 2019.
He is the devoted father of Robyn D’Apolito of North Reading & her former husband, Stephen D’Apolito of Revere, Michael T. Bozek of San Antonio, TX, John B. Bozek & his wife, Sherry of Tewksbury, Nicole M. MacTaggart & her husband, Kevin of Saugus & the late Paul A. Mazzone, Jr. He is also lovingly survived by his daughter-in-law, Deanna Mazzone of Dracut, 14 (fourteen) grandchildren & two (2) great-grandchildren.

She was the mother of four (4) and spent her life as a dedicated wife, mom, grandmother, aunt & sister. Later in life, she would take a position with the election department for the city as a poll worker. She was a life-time member of Immaculate Conception Parish Community & and an active of the Revere Rosetti Seniors.
She was the beloved wife of the late Laurence R. Carroll, who passed away on January 29, 2015. She is the devoted mother of Patricia A. Edris & her husband, Christopher H. of Sandown, N.H., Laurence R. Carroll, Jr. & his wife, Marjorie J. of Lynnfield, Christine M. Masiello & her husband, Anthony C. Masiello of Revere & the late, Marilyn J. “Lynne” Carroll, who passed in August of 1999. She is the cherished grandmother to Larry Carroll & his companion, Sarah Cooper of Salem, N.H., Ryan Carroll of Lynnfield, Joshua Carroll & Michaela Carroll, both of Atkinson, N.H., Madison Masiello of Revere, Bradley C. Edris & his wife, Terra of Yorktown, Virginia & Leslie C. Sullivan & her husband, Michael of Salem, N.H. She is also lovingly survived by her four (4) great-grandchildren: Laurence R. S. Ann (Wilson) Evensen
Services & interment at the Mass National VA Cemetery, Bourne have been held for S. Ann (Wilson) Evensen, who passed on Wednesday, May 22nd at Boston’s Beth Israel – Deaconess Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Born on December 15, 1923 in Canada to the late Samuel & Suzanna (Kingston) Wilson. She came to live in Medford as a little girl. She was educated in Medford & was a 1941 alumna of Medford High School. She was Valedictorian of her high school class & she continued her studies at Boston University. She & her family relocated to Winchester, and also held a “Beach House” in Dennisport for over 20 years. Her grandchildren recall with joy the many, many summers they enjoyed in Dennisport, while their grandparents shepherded their yearly years. She was married to Roy A. Evensen, who died February 21, 1995. Mrs. Evensen was a long time member & benefactor for the Parish of the Epiphany of Winchester & also Grace Episcopal Church of Medford. After her children had grown, she began working for the City of Medford & spent over 20 years within the City of Medford School Department as a Manager & Administrative Assistant in the Payroll Division. She enjoyed her homes, there she spent much time in her gardens & entertaining family & friends. Shortly following her husband’s death, Mrs. Evensen began her 24 year residence, here in Point of Pines, Revere with her daughter & son in law & their family (Mr. & Mrs. Michael P. & Susan A. Myers).
She is the cherished mother of Roy W. Evensen & his wife Penelope of Sarasota, FL., Richard A. Evensen of Boise, ID & the late Susan A. Myers. She is also lovingly survived by her son in law, Michael P. Myers, Sr. of Point of Pines Revere, within whose home she made her home. She is the devoted grandmother of Colleen A. Myers of Point of Pines Revere, Michael Evensen & his wife Sandi & Michele Donovan all of Scituate, Amanda Evensen of Nashua, NH & the late Michael P. Myers, Jr. She is the proud great-grandmother of (8) eight & aunt of several. She was the dear sister of the late Charles Wilson & Margaret “Peg” Wilson – Clark.

Manuel M. “Manny” Moreira

He was 81 years old. A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, May 31st at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church 250 Revere St., Revere., followed by interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
Manny was born & raised in Santa Maria Island of the Azores in Portugal. He was educated in Santa Maria and had worked several various jobs as a young man. In 1965, Manny & his family decided to move to America, settling in Cambridge, MA. Manny later moved to Revere in 1967. Manny was married and he and his then wife Dorothy began their life together and raise their family. Manny began a job at the Nabisco Company located on Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge. He worked very hard and very diligently. His strong work ethic demonstrated his commitment of how he took pride in his work. He became an operations manager for Nabisco and when he retired he had provided 40 years of dedicated & faithful service to the company. Manny also worked many various jobs to make certain he had enough to provide for his family. His family was paramount in his life. Although Manny had faced many hardships and obstacles along the way. But true to the man he was his strong nature allowed him to appreciate the simple things life had to offer. He never took anything for granted. Above all things Manny prided himself on his gardening. He had a natural love for growing various types of herbs and vegetables his tomatoes plants were legendary in the neighborhood. His neighbors looked forward to Manny’s bountiful harvest because he would share everything he would grow with all of his friends and neighbors. Manny was loved by many, neighbors, friends, his children & grandchildren and his fiancé Barbara or as he would affectionately call her Barbaria. She cared for him to the very end.
He is the devoted son of the late Manuel Moreira & Bernardina Sousa. The loving father of Kim A. Falle of Hampstead, NH & Heidi M. Pina & her husband Paul D. of Peabody. He is the adored grampy of Talia Polichetti, John Polichetti, Rocco Pina, Dean Falle, Jr. & Reece Pina. He is the beloved finance of Barbara M. Coleman of Revere. The dear brother of Antonio & Joseph Sousa both of Billerica, Ines Cabral & her husband Edmund of Stoughton & the late Joseph Moreira, Antonio Moreira, & Maria Taber. He is the former husband of Dorothy A. (Miller) Colarusso of Salem, NH. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Many was loved by all who knew him and will be forever missed.
